Gut microbiome in pediatric MS investigated

A functional metagenomic analysis presented at MSVirtual2020 has shed new light on features of the gut microbiome in pediatric MS patients.

Specialists from the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, and other centers in Canada and the USA, performed a functional survey of the pediatric MS microbiome, studying stool samples from 20 pediatric cases (younger than 18 years) and 20 matched control subjects.
